Best Movie I Have Seen This Year

Friday my dad came over to pick my son up for the weekend. I was excited to have the weekend to myself with Frank. But as soon as my dad pulled out of the driveway with Alex in the back seat, my heart just sank. I missed him so much. I layed on the couch looking at the pictures he colored for me before he left. Alex and I are always together. Frank got home a little late and headed out to the racetrack. I just watched T.V. I finally broke down and called my dad just so I could here his voice but Alex was busy playing so I didn't get to speak to him. Saturday came and I took went to the movies. This was the first time I had ever gone to the movies by myself. I wanted to see Something Borrowed and Bridesmaids. I really wanted to see Bridesmaids so I decided to watch that one instead. This movie is so funny. If you watched and liked the movie The Hang Over, then I think you will like this as well. The actress that really makes this movie hilarious is Melissa McCarthy who plays Megan in the movie. I only remember seeing her on the show The Gilmore Girls. She is awesome.  After the movie, I came home and wanted to clip my coupons but got into my "missing Alex" mode again and layed on my favorite couch watching Lifetime Channel. This was the first time I had ever watched this channel. The movies are so addicting. It makes you not want to get up at all.  We finally made it to dinner at the Outback for some steak and shrimp. Which was great. He really wanted to watch BridesMaids too so headed to the theater and I watched it again. I think I can watch that movie over and over and not get tired of it. Sunday finally came around and we picked up my baby boy. I missed him so much and was glad to finally be home with my little buddy. I LOVE him soooooo.

Sally Hansen Crackling Overcoat Nail Polish

To my surprise, I found Sally Hansens Crackling Overcoat nail polish at Walgreen's. It was a little pricey for me. It retail for $6.99. As usual, I forgot my coupon. I was just going to get some Benydryl so I left my coupon binder at the house. I had a coupon for .50 cents off. Even with the coupon, it is still a little bit pricey. But I wanted to add it to my collection of crack/shatter polishes. Now I have 3, black, grey, and purple. I think that is all I need. I might try and get a white one. The SH crackle overcoat can be applied thin or thick. Either way looks good. The only difference is the drying time. When you apply a thick coat the color is much darker. Check out my YouTube video if you get a chance.

TRESemme Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner-Week 1 BzzAgent Review

BzzAgent-Luvme4me

This is the first week of me using the TRESemme shampoo and conditioner. I washed my hair a total of 7 times since I last colored my hair on 5/9/11.  On the pictures, I do have Got2B hair products, only because I did not blow dry my hair last night. When I woke up this morning my bangs were sticking straight up. I somehow managed to cut my bangs too short last month:(
TRESemme Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner recieved from BzzAgent
I am still happy with the shampoo and conditioner. It still leaves my hair shiny and as you can see my color does not look dull. So far so good. I'll post more pictures next Tuesday to see if there is any difference.

Starburst Manicure-kind of

China Glaze Electric Pineapple

China Glaze Papaya Punch

Konad Image Plate

Momma,Alex, and Remmi on our way to Church
Last week I received an  email from Sally's Beauty Supply for a free China Glaze nail polish with any purchase of $10.00.I bought some cotton balls a Finger Paints nail polish that had a flower ring on it and Electric Pineapple. I got the Papaya Punch for free. I used the three colors that I bought to paint my nails. The colors remind me of Starburst Candy. I love Starburst!!! I applied my Nail Magic Fast Dry top coat which I love also. I liked the way it looked but seemed a little plain for me. I grabbed my Konad plate and stamped on this maze looking image. On my thumbs I used the same plate but used a different image. I like the way the thumbs look best. I loved the look but I added a glitter top coat by Wet nWild which made the nails look 100% better. I love this look. It's easy, simple, and fun!

TRESemme Color Protection Shampoo & Conditioner BzzAgent Campaign

Last month picture-my haircolor fading
Just colored my hair the day before 5-09-11 (just waking up from a nap-still have my sleepy face on)

TRESemme Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner 15fl oz each and 10 coupons

This is the my third campaign for BzzAgent. I received everything from BzzAgent because I am a BzzAgent. Please visit their website at www.BzzAgent.com.  You wont regret it.

I color my own hair. I have been coloring my hair since 9th grade. A few years ago, I actually paid to have hi-lites done on my hair. That lasted a while. After realizing that spending over $100.00 every 4 month was breaking me, I decided to just color my hair one color and be happy. I usually stick to Loreal Feria hair color or Garnier Nutresse hair color because I always have had great results with them.

I am super excited to try out this new shampoo and conditioner I was sent. Let me talk about the shampoo first. It's a clear formula and smells like apples. It says its a unique blend of green tea, rosemary and sunflower. It is suppose to gently clean hair without stripping its vibrancy.

The conditioner is a thick white formula with the same fragrant blends. It is suppose to help lock in your color, sealing the cuticle to protect color longer while helping condition and detangle. Each are valued at $4.49. That is a great price compared to the shampoo and conditioner I was using to protect my hair color. TRESemme Color Revitalize Shampoo & Conditioner helps retain color for up to 40 washes.

I cant wait to start using this tonight. I usually wash my hair every other day, but I may start doing it every day to see if my hair color stays protected. I will post pictures weekly to show changes. If I notice a big change in color I will post pictures more frequently. Let me know your experience with TRESemme.

Fever and Dreams

I was able to do this design right before I got sick. I thought it would be cute for mothers day or a day of shopping. The thumb and index finger are from konad and the others are from bundle monster. I love the shoes. Its actually a full image plate but i just stamped one shoe. If you want to know what plates i used comment below.
Being sick on mothers day weekend is not what I was hoping for at all. I did mention to my friend that a great mothers day gift would be to just have a whole weekend to myself. But this is not what I hoped for. I'm sick and alone. My son and frank are doing guy stuff in the garage. I'm here on the couch watching Meet the Parents.
I was telling Frank that I always have the same dream when I have a fever. I remember when I was a little girl I always dreamt that cemented stick figures would try to run me over with big concrete wheels;and I would get chased around with big syringes. I hated that dream.  Now i dream that my arms and legs are covered in concrete and I am trying to lift them up. It's weird. Frank tells me he doesn't remember any of his dreams. He was sick too but cant tell me what he dreamt. Do you have the same dreams every time you get the fever?

My Second Favorite Fast Dry Nail Top Coat

This is today's manicure. I used a color by Borghese which I bought from Ross a few month ago. It was only $1.99. I have seen them at Walgreen's for over $5.00.  To stamp, I used Emotion by China Glaze. I love the way this color looks when I use it to stamp. This is one nail polish that I would highly recommend when doing stamping nail art.  I used BM plate220.  The pattern is a nail tip design which is slanted. I did both hands with it. I think I did it wrong on all the fingers except the pinkie. That was the only one that looked good. I had a few free hours tonight while my husband took my son to get a haircut. I decided to paint my nails again. This time I used this yellow color by Sinful Colors. Its called Unicorn. The color looks so pretty. I did have to apply 3 coats to get a smooth finish. It still looks a little bit streaky but not to noticeable. I did not want to apply it to thick because I did not want it to take forever to dry. I was going to stamp a design, but I love the way it looks that I decided to leave it as it is.
I am running out of my favorite fast dry nail polish which is Seche Vite. Its a little pricey, so I only get it when its on sale. I have a Nail Magic Fast Dry Nail polish that was just sitting on my table. I decided to use that today. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works really good. Its almost as good as the Sech Vit (not sure if I am spelling that right). The dry time was quick. I really like it. After I use the Seche Vite and give it a few minutes to dry; my nails feel really smooth and slick. With the Nail Magic my nails felt smoothe too but not as slick. That is the only difference that I notice between the two polishes. I hope that makes scence. You can find this at your local Sally's Beauty Supply. I think I got it free when I bought the Nail Magic Base coat. Let me know whats your favorite fast dry nail polish. Thanks for stopping by.

China Glaze Crackle

Today before Alex and I met up with our friends for lunch, I made a quick stop at Sally's. I didn't think I was going to buy anything  so I didn't bother to grab my coupon before I left the house.  Oh i sure wish I had. When i got there their whole display of Crackle Nail Polish was full.  I could not believe it. Ive been going weekly to check out there displays but they were always empty. I called my sister and asked her which colors she wanted. We both picked the white one. I also bought the grey one for me and the pink one for her. I decided to do this quick manicure using the grey crackle color.  As a base color, I used Sally Hansen White Out. I applied the crackle color on the tips and used BM-210 and stamped this little image. I'm not sure what exactly is suppose to be, but it was the only small one that would fit my nail. I could probably add a little rhinestone to give it a little shine. For now I will leave it as it is.

China Glaze & Bundle Monster Manicures

Cha Cha Cha

Senorita Bonita

For Aubrey BM plate 223

Purple Panic (neon) BMplate223

BM plate 24

Purple Panic w/o top coat
The first full design I did I used BM plate 24. I used China Glaze Cha Cha Cha and Senorita Bonita. These have to be my new favorite colors. I believe they are from the Island Escape collection. I love the colors. They remind me of grape and sour apple candies by Jolly Ranchers. I used the black nail polish from Konad. Today I painted my nails Purple Panic (neon). The color is matte until you apply a top coat. I think it looks pretty either way. I really want to try out as many designs as I can so my manicures are different in each hand. On the left hand I used BM plate 23. The pattern is a hexagon full image design.  I liked the way For Aubrey looked on the nails. I tried using the black but I thought it was a little to dark for the bright pink. The Cha Cha Cha and Senorita Bonita did not work well at all. I used white by Sally Hansen Xtreme Color and that worked well. On my right hand,I used the same plate. I liked the design. It was simple and looked good with the pink and black. The only one that actually looked right was the thumb. I think I press the stamper too hard and it smears the image. On my other fingernails they were a little too short. I still like it though.

Konad & Bundle Monster Storage

1" binder-Walmart $.97

Pencil Holder $.87-Walmart

Baseball card holders

Waffle shelve liners
This is my way to store my Konad and Bundle Monster image plates. I bought a 1 inch binder from walmart for $.97.  I already had the baseball card holders because I also use them to store my coupons in my coupon binder. I originally put the plates in the sleeves then realized how easily they would slip out when I carried the binder the wrong way.  I remembered how Frank uses waffle shelve liners to prevent his tools from slipping.  I went to Ross today and found a thick roll of the liner in the kitchen department. The price was $5.99.  I know that Target sells them for a dollar less for a much smaller roll. I thought this was a good price so I bought it.  When I got home I unrolled a small section and measured the plate to the liner and cut a long strip out. I cut  the liner to the width of the plate. It took me less than fifteen minutes to put the plates and liners in their own individual slots. Now if I do happen to grab my binder by the wrong end, maybe only a few will slip out.
With the extra liner that was not used, i put them under the cushions of my couch so they wouldn't slip any more. My husband would get agitated every time he would get off the couch and the cushion would end up on the floor.  Let me know how you store your image plates. I would love to know. Check out my
YouTube video if you get a chance.

A Lil Bit of Cleaning and A Lil Bit of Bundle Monster

BM-208 with blue film protector

removing the blue film

Add caption
If you saw my video on YouTube, I mentioned a missing Bundle Monster image plate. I received my plates last Thursday and today is Monday and it already came in. I tell you, the people at Bundle Monster sure do provide excellent customer service. If you order the plates don't forget to take off the blue film on top of each image plate. I have tried a few images and they came out great. I am hoping to post new designs daily. My computer is working now so I may start posting more videos on YouTube also. If you are reading this and are also a subscriber to my YouTube Channel, I just want to say Thank You so much for hanging in there with me.

Now the "fun" part. Mondays are my usual  days to clean my house in detail. I went to Target and bought these Lysol Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaners. I have been seeing the commercial for these cleaners for a while now. They say that the restroom smells fresh after every flush.  I hope that's true. What I like about these cleaners is that they are not like the ones my mom used to use a long time ago. You probably know which ones I am talking about. My mom always got them from the Dollar General. They were oval shaped and looked like crystals. They smelled awful. I couldn't stand them. These Lysol ones are oval as well but feel more like a bar of soap. The price was $2.99 for a 2 pack.  I had a coupon for $.75 cents off. It was a little pricey but I really wanted to try this. I will let you know if it was a good buy or if I just flushed money down the toilet!!! lol
