True Blue

So these are the last designs for this month. I like the images but not the colors I choose. I should have used a different color to stamp the images. On with the colors I used, as my base I used Aquamarine by NK Nail Enamel and special Konad polish in blue. The image plate is by Bundle Monster 11. I applied rhinestomes on the flowers that are hardly visible. I might try it again tomorrow.....not sure though.

ELF haul and review

ELF haul

Elf foundation in Caramel,Translucent powder,Makeup Mist

Hollywood Eyelash Set includes lashes, glue, lash holder, lash applicator

Eyeshadow primer

Black Eyeliner Pen

Studio Powder Brush-I use it to apply the foundation
I have been using the ELF makeup brushes for a while now. I've been buying them from my local Food Town grocery store. They are only $1.00. Per the videos I have seen, not to many people like them, but I love them. I have never had any problems with the smell after I've washed them or hair fall out. Those brushes work for my face and especially my budget. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to buy some new make up. I placed my order and after a long 7 days of waiting, they finally arrived. It came in a grey plastic package and bubble wrapped. I am very pleased with my purchase. I am totally going to continue to buy from ELF. I posted a review on my YouTube channel, I hope you check it out!!

Bundle Monster 10 & China Glaze

I just love this pattern here. It's from Bundle Monster plate 10. It looks like a giraffe pattern. I'm sure it would look really good with black and white nail polish too. Just in time for the Houston Rodeo.  Maybe if we go, I'll try those colors instead.  The colors here are from China Glaze, Re-Fresh Mint and Metallic Muse. I love these two colors with or without a image on them. I'm finally getting to the image plates that are full nail designs. This plate really has some really pretty patterns on it. This particular pattern transferred really well with the Metallic Muse. Thanks for stopping by.

Pure Ice Love

The weekend came and went so fast. Saturday we spent it with friends that feel like our brother and sister. We just love them so much. Sunday we spent it with my parents. When we got home our friend had dinner already cooking for us. It was the best food I have had in a while. It was great. Now on with my weekend manicure. The blue color I used was from Color Club. I didn't like the results. This is actually four coats. I guess I should have used a white base coat before I appied the color. It did not apply evenly at all. To change up the look, I used Pure Ice nail polish in China Girl to apply the "love" image. The image comes from Bundle Monster plate09. I really like the Pure Ice brand for 2 reasons. First reason is the price. They cost 1.99 at your local walmart. The second reason is because they seem to work really good with Konad and Bundle Monster Image Plates. I am hoping to increase my YouTube viewers and blog followers with a contest. I just purchased a few items and hopefully they arrive soon.  Well thanks for visiting me, come back and visit me.

Nail Polish Collection

Here is a picture of my nail polish collection. Since we have a friend staying with us for a while, I had to move my polishes and other nail stuff from my Nail Polish/Craft Room into a small section of my bedroom closet. Its gonna take a while to get used to but a friend of my husband is a friend of mind and he is more than welcomed to stay as long as he wants.  Fortunately, I was able to squeeze all my polishes into this rack. i believe I bought this at the Family Dollar for less than $20.00. I store my nail art supplies such as fimo, image plates, rhinestones, and fake nails in the top container. The second holds my manicure supplies and the last container holds extra random stuff. There are more pictures posted on my YouTube channel. I hope you get a chance to watch it.

Angels Wings, Kings and Queens???

I don't know why,but this plate BM07, was very hard for me to transfer the image to the stamper. The only one I was able to get was the angel wings. The base color I used was by Finger Paints in Silver Sculpture. I then used a glittery nail polish by Sinful Colors. Again, not one of my favorites.

This image of the king and queen crown come from Bundle Monster image plate 08. I really like the images. They are really pretty. I used Pure Ice nail polish in Jaguar and Wet n Wild in Disturbia and swirled the two colors together. On the middle and thumb finger I used Jaguar and special Konad polish in purple to transfer the image. I should have added rhinestones to give it more a royalty look. Maybe next time.

The first set of pictures was my weekend manicure. The color I used was from China Glaze called Exceptionally Gifted. When I first got it, I thought the color was going to be to light for my skin tone. I feel in love with it after 3 coats. Its so pretty. I'm not really into pink but this color is just beautiful. The following day, I applied Hidden Treasures by Sally Hansen. You can almost see the irredescent flakes in it but not so much. It was cloudy so I wasn't able to take a good picture of it outside.  After giving my fingernails a little trim, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Pacific Blue. Oh my goodness, this color really rocks!! It has to be one of my favorites in my collection.  I used Bundle Monster Image plate 06. To make the image, I used Pure Ice nail polish in Love. I had a real hard time choosing what design to put, not one of my favorite plates.  I will post image of plate in next post. Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Butterflies

This is a cute design for spring. The base color is by FingerPaints in Art District Delight. I used Konad special nail polish in green to make the flowery design. I used the special nail polish in orange, pink, and yellow to make the butterfly design. This was my first attempt to put two designs on one nail. I think with more practice I will get better. I will more than likely take this off as soon as I finish this post and give myself a much needed manicure. Thanks for stopping by.

Bundle Monster Image Plate3

This design reminds me of fireworks or splattered paint. The image transfers on well even if your finger nails are not very long. The base color is from Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro in Steel Grey. My husband loves this color. I like it alot too. I especially like the brush because its wider than most. I used 3 coats to get this color. To stamp the image, I used Konad special nail polish in dark purple. I tried using Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro in Midnight Blue but the image didn't look dark or thick enough. The image was from Bundle Monster plate 3. The more I use these plates the more I am starting to like them. I hope you do to.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to comment.

My Big Boy

Praise God!!! My son finally went to bed in his own room in his own bed!! Frank and I have our bedroom to ourselves now, after 4 years.  I wont deny that I miss my son sleeping with me because I do. I miss his cozzyness. I miss looking at his face when he sleeps and I miss listening to him breathe. I am glad this was an easy transition though. There was no crying or fits. I know this was a good move for all of us. My baby is growing up so fast.

Sinful Love

I actually like this design alot. The polishes were by Sinful Color Cream Pink (dark one) and Beautiful Girl (light one). The image plate was by Bundle Monster 02. I painted my entire nails Cream Pink then sponged the tips with Beautiful Girl. I used Konad special black nail polish to stamp the image. I also applied a pink rhinestone on the end of the hearts tail. I think this would be really pretty for Valentines Day. Thanks for stopping by and come back for more designs. Thanks:)

Sinful Faux-Nad

Some how I managed to lose the pictures that I actually wanted to post so these will have to do:(  What I really want to do this year is show as many designs from both my Konad and Bundle Monster image plates. This design is from Bundle Monster Plate 01. The nail colors I am using are Sinful Colors Rise and Shine and I sponged the tips with Mint Apple. For the image, I used the special nail polish by Konad in black.  I applied a green rhinestone in the middle and finished off with Seche Vette quick dry top coat. I'm not to sure what exactly design this is suppose to be but it kind of reminded me of holly....I dont know. If you can tell me what its suppose to be feel free to share. Thanks for reading and please visit again:)

Let's Go Check the Mail!!

Who doesn't like checking the mail?  I love checking the mail, except for the first, middle and end of the month. Thats when the BILLS usually appear.  Other than that, I love it. Especially when I see the mail man putting in a package in the box. Last month I recieved free goodies for Pillsbury,Emergen-C,Nicorette and a few other companies.  All I did was sign up with Allyou.com and SweetFreeStuff.com and they send me daily emails of free samples I can register for to recieve.  When you register for a free sample you dont have to check the little box that allows the company to send you more information on the product. I never check it and I still get my samples. I'm not a smoker and more than likely I will not use the Nicorette, but its the new year and I have someone in mind to offer it too. If you know of another free sample site please let me know.
