CVS Beauty Club: $3.00 off any purchase coupon will be emailed. It has to be printed to be redeemed.

Walgreen $10.98 OOP-Coupons

Today was my day to go to Walgreens. Unfortunately, I was unable to buy the Sunday paper so I only used the coupon that I already had in my binder. I was prepared to stop at 4 different Walgreen's in my area but thank goodness everything I needed was in the first Walgreens I stopped at. I was very surprised actually. The deals this week were great. I am starting to shop more at Walgreen's than CVS!

$4.99-$4RR from transaction 2=$.99 received $4RR

So in reality my OOP was $7.99 for all the items I purchased or $.89 each item.

I have this $4RR that I might use for some more of the above items depending on what is going to be on sale next week.

End of the Month Coupons-November

So today is the last day of November. It was that time again to go through my coupon binder and pull out expired coupons. I love using my coupons at CVS. I feel that they always have better deals than Walgreen's.
CVS has a promotion going on when you buy $30.00 worth of specially marked items you receive a $10.00 gift card. The gift card does not have to be a CVS card it can be for Macy's,GAP,and a few others. I always choose CVS. In my coupon binder I had $5.00 in ECB and my $10.00 CVS gift card from a purchase I made a few weeks ago. After looking at the CVS ad. last night, I made my list of items that I wanted. I also calculated the cost before and after coupons.
Tide-$5.94-$2.00coupon=$3.94
Dawn-$.99x3-$1.25=$1.72
Pantene-2/$6.97-$3.00=$3.97
Oral-B-$4.99-$3.00=$1.99
Unfortunately, last night, I miss read a coupon and did not realize it until I was going through my coupon at the store parking lot. Once I was able to get the items above, I had to figure out what else to get without spending too much money. My goal was to spend $5.00 out of pocket. I ended up getting a few things that I did not have coupons for.
Puffs Tissue-$1.98
Cottenell Wipes-$1.99
Gain Softer-$5.94-$.50=$5.49
My total before coupons was $30.78. After coupons and ECB's my total was $16.04. After using my $10.00 CVS gift card my grand out of pocket total was $7.36 tax included. I also received  my $10.00 CVS gift card that I can use towards another purchase. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are not a couponer, I would highly recommend to start. Saving Money Using Coupons

 This is my weekly haul for September 25,2011. My total out of pocket was $27.67. I really like to set my budget for no more than $20.00. As you can see, I was $7.67 over. I really wanted to use two coupons that were about to expire and I knew Walmart would have the items lower than CVS and Walgreens. Over all, I feel good about this weeks purchases. Along with the items, I was able to get my mom a small birthday gift. I am pretty sure she will enjoy the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips. I know I would.

Look What $8.09 Can Buy You!!

This weekend coupons did not contain anything that I thought was of good value.There were 3 inserts but nothing really caught my eye. I was hoping to see more Air Wick coupons but they did not have anything. The only coupon I used for this weeks coupons was for the $1.00 off for the Aqua Fresh tooth paste. I used coupons that I  had from previous weeks for the items I purchased today.

My total out of pocket was $8.09. At Walgreen's, I was charged double for the Tampons and I did not realize until I was already home. Thankfully we went to visit my mother in law and Walgreen's was right around the corner from her house. I was refunded my money without question.
