Monster Jam-Houston 2012

I remember being younger and my dad taking us all to go see the  Monster Trucks at the Astrodome. I cant say I was a big fan but I did like Big Foot!! Now Frank and I will take Alex to see Monster Jam at Reliant Stadium. I can honestly say that now I enjoy it! Its fun, exciting and most of all loud!!! Cant wait for next year!! Wolverine won all 3 categories that night!! Oh I forgot to mention, the food is awesome as well!!!!!!!

Smarterer Test

As a Bzz Agent, I decided to accept a campaign called Smarterer.Smarterer is a platform designed to score individuals on digital, social, and technical skills. Each test has 10 questions and is timed at 60 second for the entire test.Your score is given right after the test. I love taking test,quizzes,or questionaires. I could not pass this up. This test invloved your knowledge of Facebook, Twitter,Google Search and a couple of others. Since I have only had Facebook and Twitter for a few month, I was not sure how I would do. Apparently I lack knowledge in my use of facebook and twitter. None the less, it was really fun and interesting to take. I have to admit, I did learn a few things. My First Time.............with John Frieda

I received this free product coupon in the mail about 2 weeks ago. Value up to $12.00

I choose this color 4R Dark Red Brown

My natural hair color is super dark brown.I have some reddish on the bottom from about 6 months ago

I applied this oil on my face,back of neck and ears to prevent getting blotches on my skin

After I apply color to my hair, I like to cover my hair with a plastic bag to keep heat in and to prevent messes

Each bottle is numbered in order of use

I poured bottle number 2 into bottle number 1

I tilted bottle 5 times.It doesn't look like much but believe me it is plenty!! Don't shake the bottle, I was extremely tempted to shake!!

I have been coloring my own hair since I was about 18 years old. I started using the brand my sister used and since her hair looked pretty, I used the same. I stayed loyal to that brand but tried different types of the brand. I have always been the type to try different thing with my hair. I always thought its just hair,it will grow back. Lately though,that has changed. For some reason, I have been so scared to color my hair. I know that it needs to be colored but I just did want to do it. A few weeks ago a coupon from John Frieda came in the mail. It said "here is a free gift for you". Inside was a coupon for a free box of hair color. The coupon was about to expire so I headed to CVS to get the color. Since they had a sale on John Frieda products I also bought  a styling heat spray since a coupon was attached to the bottle. I was not to sure about using the hair color  because I had never tried John Frieda products. I have to say, I am so grateful for the coupon. This foam color is so easy to apply. Not only that,the smell is not as strong or harsh as other products. It is also so easy and quick to rinse off. Usually after washing my hair after coloring it it feels stiff even after using the conditioner in the box. The John Frieda conditioner that was provided made my hair soft and manageable. I used the heat spray before blow drying my hair and my hair looked so pretty!! I colored my hair before going to bed and there was no unpleasant smell like their usually is when I color my hair. Thank you so much John Frieda for giving me the coupon.

magnetiX Nail Polish

I was finally able to pick up this magnetiX nail polish from the ICING this past weekend. I have been looking for it for a while now. When I walked into the store, my first reaction was to look where the nail polish and makeup are displayed. I looked and looked and they were not there. I asked the sales lady and she told me that they were at the front register. There was not too many left. They had a bluish color, a purple/pink color and a green/yellow color. She told me that the blue color was really popular. I decided to get the purplish pinkish color and the greenish yellowish colors. I normally would not spend so much money on any nail polish but I had to give it a try. Plus my husband was generous to give me extra money to get what I wanted. Each one was $9.00 but they had a sale going on which was BOGO 50% off. This sale is usually always going on. Application is very easy. You apply one coat, let dry completely. Then apply a second coat generously. The top of the nail polish bottle is where the magnet is located. There are also little ridges to place your finger on that way the polish does not smear. It says to hold magnet on top of nail for 10 seconds but I held it for 20 seconds and kind of moved it around from side to side.Instructions are on the bottle as well. The outcome is so pretty. It really does look like magnetic waves on your nails. When I did my thumb I applied the second coat lightly and when I placed the magnet over it nothing happened. I guess you just have to put a good amount on the nail. Results will vary on each nail but I think it looks awesome.

How do You Swatch Nail Polish?

Before I go any further, I must give credit where credit it due. I first saw this amazing way to swatch nail polishes by watching videos by http://www.youtube.com/user/mrsdoubtfire33. I thought to myself this is so freaking awesome!!!

My husband is the sole provider for our family. I really like buying anything that deals with nail polish. I love the nail art wheel that allows you to display all your nail polish swatches so conveniently on a little wheel.These are great,but can become a little pricey. I've gotten some for as low as $.99 each wheel. Sally's has them for $5.99 for a set of 10 wheels in a package.



Now let me share with you a great alternative. Like I mentioned earlier, I saw this in a YouTube video. See link above. Yes these are spoons.Isn't that awesome!! You can get a whole package of spoon for less than a dollar. And unlike the wheels above, you can actually write the brand and name of each nail polish!!! Right now,I cant even remember the name of the polishes on the wheel except for maybe 3.

You can even use knives, which is the way I prefer because I tend to write big.

Storing them can be easy too.I just grabbed a clean empty jar an placed them in there. You can make the jar look as pretty as you want by adding glass marbles inside the jar and ribbon around the outside.

Right now my a jar looks quite homely. I don't have the marbles yet but have plenty of ribbon. I just have not put any on it yet.
So yes this is the way I am now going to be swatching my nail polishes. If you are like me and don't like to clean dishes after a party or get together, then I am sure you have plenty of left-over plastic utensils.
