CRAVEBOX HOLIDAY PAMPER ME BOX

Everything come wrapped in pink tissue paper

Package gets delivered to your mailbox
Finally my CRAVEBOX arrived!!! Just to clear the air this is nothing compared to Birchbox. In my honest opinion, I believe CRAVEBOX is so much better. The reason I say so is because this box has alittle bit of everything for your everyday life. It came with a full size candy bar, with a name that I can not pronounce. I certainly plan on saving it for a few more week for when that certain craving for chocolate begins. In the mean time I plan on sharing the chocolate truffle with my husband once we get a few minutes alone, after all he did pay for this box and the future ones to come.  There was also a nail polish to satisfy that nail polish addict in me. A body balm perfect for this time of weather was also included. I can never have enough lotion,,,,,no one likes ashy legs or elbows.  Now there is no reason why I should be scavenging through my kitchen junk drawer looking for a pen. CRAVEBOX just provided me with 2/2 pack pens. One pack is black ball point ink and the other pack contain a pink and purple gel ink. Cravebox is a monthly subscription that is only $10.00 per month. If you are tired of getting samples for $10.00 give Cravebox a chance. I am glad I did!!

I love how it gives my lips a nice shine. The gloss is not too thick nor sticky. It also has a really nice smell to it. It reminds me of vanilla and caramel. It really is nice. My husband said it makes me look even more sexy! Gotta love that!!!
I just looked up the price on NYC website and it retails for $2.49. Talk about budget friendly!!It's totally worth the money!

My Favorite Holiday Snack

Chex Mix Muddie Buddies

Great to give as a treat to friends, neighbors, and teachers!
Apparently, these tasty treats have several names that you can call them. The lady at the register asked me if I was going to be making "Trash". I don't like that name at all:( The name does it no justice to way these taste. I have heard some people call it "Puppy Chow" or as my son say it "Puppy Food". I choose to call it "Muddie Buddies".
This is the most easiest snack to make and the most easiest snack to eat all by your self! It it so YUMMY! I have to make several batches for us, one for my brother and one for my parents house.
The ingredients are few:
9 cups Chex cereal (any flavor)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1. Into large bowl, measure cereal and set aside
2. In 1-qt microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute. Stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.
3. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
4. Pour into a 2-gallon resealable food storage bag
5. Add powdered sugar.Seal bag and shake until well coated.
6. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
7. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

CraveBox

I received a tweet a while ago about a new product that is going to be launching. The name of it was CraveBox. Have you heard of it? Well it is a monthly "subscription" that you get in the mail.
Cravebox gives you the opportunity to try the best products without paying full price.
  • Unwrap four to five hand-selected products each monthcravebox box
  • Discover the most crave-worthy products including beauty, food, home goods and others
  • Delivered to your door for one superbly low price of $10/month - includes free shipping!

Sounds pretty exciting to me! I am currently a subscriber to BirchBox. Honestly, I have only gotten one box that I actually liked.  Maybe 2 products that I would actually considering purchasing. One was the Anastasia Clear Brow mascara and the other was the Ahava foot cream.  I am hoping to receive something exciting in Decembers BirchBox, if not, then this will be my last month with BirchBox. The thing that interested me in CraveBox, was that the description of the box listed home goods and not just beauty goods. I really can not wait for this box to arrive.
I did place my order with CraveBox this morning. As soon as I receive my package, I will let you know what I received. If you are interested, here it there website: http://www.cravebox.com/
Thanks for stopping by,

End of the Month Coupons-November

So today is the last day of November. It was that time again to go through my coupon binder and pull out expired coupons. I love using my coupons at CVS. I feel that they always have better deals than Walgreen's.
CVS has a promotion going on when you buy $30.00 worth of specially marked items you receive a $10.00 gift card. The gift card does not have to be a CVS card it can be for Macy's,GAP,and a few others. I always choose CVS. In my coupon binder I had $5.00 in ECB and my $10.00 CVS gift card from a purchase I made a few weeks ago. After looking at the CVS ad. last night, I made my list of items that I wanted. I also calculated the cost before and after coupons.
Tide-$5.94-$2.00coupon=$3.94
Dawn-$.99x3-$1.25=$1.72
Pantene-2/$6.97-$3.00=$3.97
Oral-B-$4.99-$3.00=$1.99
Unfortunately, last night, I miss read a coupon and did not realize it until I was going through my coupon at the store parking lot. Once I was able to get the items above, I had to figure out what else to get without spending too much money. My goal was to spend $5.00 out of pocket. I ended up getting a few things that I did not have coupons for.
Puffs Tissue-$1.98
Cottenell Wipes-$1.99
Gain Softer-$5.94-$.50=$5.49
My total before coupons was $30.78. After coupons and ECB's my total was $16.04. After using my $10.00 CVS gift card my grand out of pocket total was $7.36 tax included. I also received  my $10.00 CVS gift card that I can use towards another purchase. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are not a couponer, I would highly recommend to start. Its fun, simple and especially rewarding. Please let me know if you have any questions. As always, thanks for stopping by.

Lawry's Southwest Chicken Skillet-BuzzAgent Review

I received this packet of Lawry's spices & seasoning mix along with two other ones and a full size bottle of seasoned salt, from BzzAgent. These were given to me to use in my cooking routine and to give my honest opinion on them.
I already have tried the Taco Seasoning mix, which I loved. The one that I used today was my first time ever using this seasoning mix.  The name of the mix was Southwest Chicken Skillet. The ingredients that were needed was chicken, black beans, corn, rice, diced tomatoes, water and cheese.
I like dishes like these because everything can be done in one skillet. That means less dishes to wash and a cleaner stove top. I was actually dreading to make this meal because I thought it was going to take a long time to cook. I was so wrong! The meal was complete in less that 30 minutes.
After completely cooking it and allowing the cheese to melt, I gave it a quick taste. It was very good. I was a little weary about giving it to my 4 year old because it was a little spicy. Apparently not to spicy for him though. He finished the whole plate. My husband had 3 servings (he missed lunch) and loved it. I really liked the taste too.
I will definitely buy this seasoning mix next time we go grocery shopping. I recommend Lawry's Southwest Chicken Skillet seasoning mix to anyone who has trouble making meals (like me) or anyone who just likes to eat!!
Thanks for stopping by.

I am a BzzAgent and I received these products to review and spread word of mouth.

Recycled Birchbox

Every Birchbox comes with a sheet of tissue paper.

ModPodged tissue paper

Finished box to put birthday gift

Cost=nothing
Last month was Green Month. BirchBox was asking to post photos of upcycled Birchboxes. I am a little to late but thought I would post this anyway. My moms birthday is right around the corner. Sometimes finding just the right bag and tissue paper can be a little expensive. There's usually never any coupons for that kind of stuff. I knew I had some zebra print duct tape somewhere hidden in my car. I think it was left over from Vacation Bible School projects. I opened up the trunk and found it under a blanket. I grabbed my empty Birchbox and began to cover the sides and top with the tape. I did not like the way the inside looked, so I decided to modpodge the insides with the tissue paper that every Birchbox comes with. I also modpodged the outsides of the box to give the box a gloss finish and to prevent the tape from coming undone. After letting the mod podge dry all night, I filled the box with my moms gifts and used a sheer purple ribbon to finish off the look.
I really like this because she can reuse this box to put whatever she wants in it. This duct tape can be found at Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Walmart. I hope you enjoy and recycle your box too.

Derm E

 www.dermae.net
This is another product that I received in my Influenster VoxBox. I received the DermaE  Very Clear Cleansing Scrub exfoliant. It is suppose to help remove impurities and prevent breakouts. The tube is 4oz.
After using it a few times, I really did not want to use it anymore. The smell is really strong for my liking. I prefer a ,more subtle scent. This has a really strong scent of tea tree, willow bark, rosewood, lavender and chamomile.
My husband has a few skin problems. We are always on the look out for something that will help him. I told him to give this a try. I could not believe how soft the area around his nose felt. I was shocked. So was he. His face looks and feels so much better.
This scrub is not really grainy like the scrub that I prefer to use. You also do not need to use alot unlike the one I use. A small amount works really well. The directions also say you can use it wet or dry. I always used it wet and so does my husband. Then you massage gently and rinse. I am sure my husband will continue to use this and I will make sure to buy it for him once he runs out.
This product is not tested on animals, its paraben-free and eco-friendly. Make sure to visit their website for more information on their skin care line.
