Fergie Wet n Wild Milano Collections

Here is a quick pictorial of a look I did using the Fergie Milano Collections palette.  I believe this is found at Walgreens only.  They has a palette with shades of purple but I opted for this one.  There are 10 different shades in the palette.  It also come with a double ended brush. I decided to apply the shadow with the brush that was provided.  I also used the Fergie Wet n Wild primer.

This palette retails for $8.99 at Walgreens

The shadows have no names
I used this shade as my base.  I applied it all over my lid, as seen below.

I used this color as my highlight color on my brow bone (see below)

I used my finger to apply the gold shade pictured below on my bottom part of my lid.

Next time I will use a gold cream base that I have from Mary Kay before using this shade. I think it will pop more if I do that first.

I used this color on my crease...extreme close up below

I wanted to give it more depth so I used this on the crease as well (below)

I used this black color on the outer corner of my lids and blended very well (below)

I applied this shade on my lower lash line  (below)

I highly recommend applying the shadow before doing your foundation.  There is a lot of color fall out.

This is the final look.  I lined my eyes with Jordana eyeliner and Mary Kay mascara.   I also use Revlon foundation.

Final thoughts: Over all I think this a pretty decent palette. Like I mentioned earlier there is quite a bit of fall out. I think if I use my regular makeup brushes the colors will show more but the brush provided is not dense at all but a look is still achievable if this is the only brush you have.  I really like the matte colors and the 2 goldish colors.  The highlight color is very nice as well.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tarte- Amazonian Clay Foundation

I have  been seeing videos about the Amazonian Clay foundation by Tarte.  Last Monday I went to Ulta to buy it.  I tend to be budget friendly when it comes to buying foundation.  I usually buy Loreal or a BB cream by Garnier or Ponds.  I decided to splurge a little.  I think we all need to spoiled every once in a while.
So when I went to Ulta, there wasn't really anybody on the floor to help me match my color.  I ended up getting medium tan honey.  An associate told me I could return it if it was not my right shade as long as I had my receipt.  I tried it out a few days later and loved the coverage and feel but the color was not my shade.  It was actually way to light for me.  I went back this week to exchange it and to get my free birthday gift from ULTA.  If you read my birthday post I had to get an email from Ulta and print it out to receive my free birthday gift.  I called their customer service number and the operator emailed it to me right away. So I printed that out and was on my way to Ulta.  This time
I chose the shade tan-deep-sand ( tan to deep skin with yellow undertones).  I also had one of the girls  test it on me as well.  I really didn't want to spend $32.00 on their brush so I bought the Real Techniques expert face brush.  I bought the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Finishing powder in translucent.  This is my first time using these product but so far I love the finish of both the foundation and powder.  Although I did make a big mess using the loose powder.  Here are some pictures of my face using the products.

Notice the zit on my cheek. One reason I chose the Amazonian Clay foundation is because I have spots under my eyes and cheeks  that I want to try to cover up with out using so many products.

Real Techniques expert face brush
as you can see the foundation concealed the zit and gave me a even complexion.  It didn't cover the spots completely but it did even out my skin tone.

This is look after applying the finishing powder.

And this is the completed look.  Even though the foundation is full coverage; it does not feel thick.  It feels natural.

This is the free CK one Mascara in black.  Its a full size product.  Just remember to print your birthday email to receive this.

These are the products I used today.

**UPDATE**
I have been wearing this foundation for a little over 7 hours.  So far I love it. Yes I am oily on my T-zone but thats normal for me.  I have not touched up my makeup since applying it this morning.

How do some girls look so pretty when showing off their  lipsticks on Instagram???

I have been seeing a lot of the Melted colors on Instagram.  They look so intense and pretty.  I decided to go ahead and get one.  Oh my gosh, I think I want them all now. It  applies evenly and are not thick. Its actually creamy and feels good on my lips.  Its not sticky at all.  They come in 10 shades  and well worth the price.  If I get another chance to visit Sephora or Ulta I am going to get Melted Fuchsia.
