Crochet Swap-Stuff I Sent

Lately I have been on a crochet craze. I new how to make just a regular single crochet but did not know how to fasten off. I started watching videos on YouTube and learned so much from these lovely ladies.

They really know there stuff and their videos are very good quality and they show you stitch by stitch.

I have a really good friend of mine who I miss so much. She recently started crocheting and knitting. I asked her to do a swap with me and she agree. I really don't think she will read this so I am going to show you what I sent her.

This is a cup cozy. Its suppose to be an owl. I took different patterns from Ravelry.com to make this.

I just took left over yarn from another scarf and chained the leftovers and wrapped it around my neck for a cute necklace.

The International Delight Creamers were missing from this box due to the hurricane. I received an email saying that it may appear in another box but what if we don't want that other box or are not one of the ones chosen for that box.  I personally think that everyone who got this box should get it. This box was not part of the monthly box it was a "special edition" box. I think its only fair especially since it was written on the Knorr Cravebox product information sheet. That's just my honest opinion. Other than that I think the box was good. I will post pictures up of my next box which should be the Holiday Spruce Up Cravebox.

What a surprise!! Earlier yesterday morning I decided to cancel my Birchbox subscription. This past weekend I finally went through all the boxes I have and organized them. I have not used any sample that I have received from them except for maybe the perfumes. I end up losing those when I do use them. I was tired of having little boxes all over my side table.

Yesterday afternoon the mail man delivered my last Birchbox. I was in shock when I opened it!

As you can see the samples contained in this box was actually a higher value the  monthly price of the box.
I am still going to keep my subscription as cancelled.  I really enjoy getting my Cravebox and the prices on that seems to be going up every time they give out a new box. I would rather use my money on them instead.

Yes, I am a little late to the relaunch but its better late than never. I have been with a member of Influenster for a little over a year. I have received many boxes and have enjoyed every box that has been given to me to test and review.

This morning I woke up and decided to check my profile. Whoa!!! The whole website was totally different. It's now show me what I need to update and different tasks that I need to complete. Easy to use and apply.I was afraid that it would make my hair look greasy or oily especially on the days that I skipped my hair wash. It actually did not do either. It did not even have a funky smell. I think my hair could have gone 2 days without washing it.

This is a full day of nothing but the
Pantene Pro-V Expert Collection AgeDefy Regimen in my hair. My hair still has a lot of body and shine to it. My hair is naturally straight but I love how it has that natural bounce to it. No flatness at all. There are also no frizzy hairs on my front of hairline.

Even though it states that it is gentle enough for color treated hair, I noticed that my hair color faded a little bit faster. The color red fades fast to begin with but I just noticed more of my color washing it in the shower.

Other than that, I enjoyed the results of using this regimen.I liked the shine,scent, volume, and the way that my hair looked healthy. I liked that there was no residue on my scalp.

This past weekend my parents were gracious enough to watch Alex all weekend long. My dad got to my house at exactly 4:30 Friday afternoon to pick up his grandson. I think its awesome for them to do that. I know Alex needs time to relax from school,taekwondo, and his daddy and I. My parents need time to spoil him with out Frank and I looking over their shoulders♥

I had never been into the club scene. My husband got over it a long time ago. Thank God!. As far as drinking goes,we just don't do it anymore. I really enjoyed our last date night together at the Millers Outdoor Theatre. I heard on the radio that there was going to be a free performance there for Saturday night. I looked it up and it was for Benise-En Fuego. I had never heard of him. I figured it was going to be just Spanish guitar nothing to exciting. It did not matter, I just love the environment. I love sitting on top of the hill at night with Frank watching the sky get darker and the different cultures that are in this wonderful city. I also love that its free!!

The performance was amazing. He played all different types of songs as you can tell from the clip. The dancers were amazing. It was a very good concert. Having a good time doesn't always mean having to spend money. If you live in the Houston area next week will be the last free concert for the year. I can't wait for more awesome date nights on the hill.

I "bought" my free box at Kroger's. It came with 5 pieces in the box. Without the free coupon it would have been over $6.00. I don't quite remember the exact price. I think it is a little too pricey for 5 pieces of fillets. One piece did not fill me up even with sides. My son who is five at two pieces without any problems.

Satisfaction guaranteed. I honestly don't think you will need this though. The fillets are actually quite good and taste really fresh. We loved it!

You can cook this 2 methods. Either in the oven or stove top. I chose to use a skillet on the stove top. I told my husband to call me when he was 30 minutes away from home so I could start on his fillets. Very easy to cook. No mess and no stickiness to skillet which equalls to easy clean up!!
