Today before Alex and I met up with our friends for lunch, I made a quick stop at Sally's. I didn't think I was going to buy anything so I didn't bother to grab my coupon before I left the house. Oh i sure wish I had. When i got there their whole display of Crackle Nail Polish was full. I could not believe it. Ive been going weekly to check out there displays but they were always empty. I called my sister and asked her which colors she wanted. We both picked the white one. I also bought the grey one for me and the pink one for her. I decided to do this quick manicure using the grey crackle color. As a base color, I used Sally Hansen White Out. I applied the crackle color on the tips and used BM-210 and stamped this little image. I'm not sure what exactly is suppose to be, but it was the only small one that would fit my nail. I could probably add a little rhinestone to give it a little shine. For now I will leave it as it is.
This is a little blog about my everyday life as a wife and mother and everything in between.

Konad & Bundle Monster Storage
1" binder-Walmart $.97
Pencil Holder $.87-Walmart
Baseball card holders
Waffle shelve liners
With the extra liner that was not used, i put them under the cushions of my couch so they wouldn't slip any more. My husband would get agitated every time he would get off the couch and the cushion would end up on the floor. Let me know how you store your image plates. I would love to know. Check out my
YouTube video if you get a chance.

Now the "fun" part. Mondays are my usual days to clean my house in detail. I went to Target and bought these Lysol Automatic Toilet Bowl Cleaners. I have been seeing the commercial for these cleaners for a while now. They say that the restroom smells fresh after every flush. I hope that's true. What I like about these cleaners is that they are not like the ones my mom used to use a long time ago. You probably know which ones I am talking about. My mom always got them from the Dollar General. They were oval shaped and looked like crystals. They smelled awful. I couldn't stand them. These Lysol ones are oval as well but feel more like a bar of soap. The price was $2.99 for a 2 pack. I had a coupon for $.75 cents off. It was a little pricey but I really wanted to try this. I will let you know if it was a good buy or if I just flushed money down the toilet!!! lol

My new Netbook
Today was a great day. Alex and I didn't do much except stay home. Since he wont start school until he is 6yrs old (winter birthday) I teach him "school" in our living room. I bought him different learning books from
walmart, walgreens, and the dollar general. I like them alot because they teach him how to write, matching, connect the dot and other cool things. So that's all we did. We watched Iron Man a few times. Yeah it was a good day for the both of us. I cant believe how much he is growing.
Frank came home after Alex and I finished dinner. He came home with a surprise for me. That hardly happens but when it does you better believe that its a good surprise. He bought me a netbook. I have been wanting one for a while now. I love it. I will post a picture in a later post because I am just getting to know my new lil purple machine. So far so good. Thanks for stopping by:)

Yay!!!! I woke up this morning at 5:00am and made my purchase for the New Bundle Monster Nail Art Image Plates. These new plates are suppose to be wider to fit the nails. Unlike the older plates that did not cover the whole nail plate. The design all look pretty too. I can not wait to get them. My natural now, so I will post pictures on fake nails once I get them in. Tres Leches-Cake Recipe
Bake Cake as directed on box
slide a knife around sides of cake
poke holes with a straw
small can of evaporated milk-I accidentally grabbed the big can Nestle Media Crema and Sweetened Condensed Milk
Mix the milks in a bowl
pour over on top of cake
let is settle for 30 minutes/refrigerate over night
top with whipped creme and favorite fruit-Enjoy!!
Tres Leches which means "three milks" is so simple to make but oh so yummy and moist. I love baking cakes. I always use a box cake mix. I'm sure there are some people that prefer to use "from scratch" recipes but I prefer to use Pillsbury cake mixes. I love how they bake and the moisture of them.
To make this cake, all you need is a box of yellow cake mix, small can of evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and crema media. Nestle Crema Media can be found in the Latin foods isle. After baking the cake as directed in the box, let it rest for about 5 minutes. Gently slide a butter knife around the edges to make sure the cake is not stuck to the sides. Then take a straw and poke holes all over the cake about a 1/2 inch apart. Grab a mixing bowl and combine the three milks and slowly pour over the entire cake. After about 30 minutes cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator for at least 3 hours or over night. I choose to store it over night just to make sure all the milks have been absorbed. Afterwards frost with whipped creme and top with your favorite fruit. I always use strawberry's, but you can use peaches, kiwi, pineapple or all of the above.
I promise you will love this cake and so will your guest. Give it a try and let me know if you like it. If you have already made this cake but use a different recipe let me know also.

Left Eye I am affiliated with BzzAgent. These products were given to me to review and express my own personal opinions through word of mouth. The One Sweep Eyeshadow by Loreal Paris retails for $9.95. The color I received was Playful for brown eyes. The mascara I received was the Double Extend Eye Illuminator in Black Quartz. It retails for $10.95. I'm sure many of you have seen advertisements in magazines or television for these products. I am going to start with the eyeshadow first. At first glance the product seems awesome. Who wouldn't like to save an extra 5 minutes putting on eyeshadow or making sure that you blended all your colors evenly to not look like a clown. The eyeshadow came nicely packaged. It has a mirror inside the 3 shade palette and a sponge applicator that looks like it would cover your eyelid with product. The pictured instructions are adhered to the back. It show you how to apply to the right eye and left eye. The colors for the brown eyes are a purple tone, grey tone and pinkish tone. They are all shimmery. The application was very easy but I wish the colors where more pigmented. I even had primer on my lids. The eyeshadow did not cover my whole lid. It only did half at the most. It did not reach my brow bone at all. It did not apply evenly like the pictures in the magazines show. Even after a few coats, the color still wasn't dark enough for me. For almost $10.00, I don't think I would buy this product. I would rather spend the extra 5 minutes blending my eyeshadow with my everyday eyeshadow brushes. Now for the mascara. To begin with, my eyelashes are super short. This mascara is something that I really liked. It did lengthen my lashes. It did not make them fuller but that was not what it was being advertised for. After applying 2 coats of Step 1 my lashes looked really pretty. After Step 2, my eyes looked brighter. I did not look as sleepy/tired anymore. Step 2 has these little bronzy pearls that really make your eyes stand out. I love it. If it would make my lashes look fuller I would most definitely buy this product. For more information about BzzAgent go to www.BzzAgent.com. Thank you BzzAgent for allowing and giving me these products to review.
