This weekend we were invited to a birthday party at Crocodile Encounter. When I got the invite, I was a little bit nervous/ petrified! I thought the gators were going to be roaming the area and that it was going to be swampy and scary. When we got there it was the total opposite. All the animals are fenced it. The tour guide took charge of the group and led us through walkways to the different animals. It was a fun experience and I got to see creatures that I wouldn't normally.

This one was supposedly the bully of the bunch |

We were able to feed and pet the turtles |

Can you see who's hiding in there? |

All the crocodiles and alligators where fenced in. No possible danger to a visitor unless they jump over the fence or stick their hand through the fence. |

Capybara Worlds largest rodent. This is one of the cutest creatures I have ever seen. He loved getting his belly rubbed. I don't remember exactly how old this one was but an adult can weigh up to 150 pounds. |

I know I commented on this, but the internet must have deleted it :) I love these photos! That rodent thing is cool at a zoo, but I'd freak out if he was in my house! Could you imagine a rodent that large pounding the floor through your house and eating your furniture? lol~no thanks. I wish we lived closer, because Noah and I would have SO much fun with you and your son! :) xoxo.
