Epilating Underarms using Philps Satin Perfect Epilator

Tonight I decided to be brave and epilate my underarms. I knew it was going to hurt but kept telling myself  that it couldn't be that bad. Gosh was I wrong!! I was only going to take pictures to show but after the pain from doing my left underarm  first I decided to film myself doing my right arm. I almost did not even want to do it. I could actually hear and feel the hairs being yanked out of my skin. This is far worse that epilating your legs. This is also worse that waxing because when you wax they pull everything off in one pull. With epilateing each individual hair is pulled separately. This is very painful.I do not recommend this to anyone who is sensitive at all. I am not sensitive but honestly this hurts!! I am still going to use it though. If this decreases the growth of underarm hair than I am all for it. I know that the pain will decrease in time, To me the pain is worth it.

This box may not be for all but I love it. This comes with things that as a wife,mom,and everything in between will use. I really don't like to iron clothes at all. The Downy Wrinkle Release is perfect for my son Taekwond uniform. Sometimes I forget to eat lunch or get hungry during Alex's practice so I am going to stuff these 2 Think Thin Bars in my bag. I am going to have to try the EBoost drink because lately I have been feeling really sleepy. Hopefully this can really give me a boost. I love the BIC markers. They are perfect for crafting or circling the items in the weekly sale advertisements that I need to buy. I am going to put 2 in my coupon binder. I'm am pretty stocked up on my facial cleansers and moisturizers but it doesn't hurt to add 2 more to my pile!! Good job Cravebox!!!

Epilating My Legs! Philips Satin Perfect Epilator

Hairy legs-I went 5 days without shaving

I wont lie to you, I was super nervous and scared to epilate my legs. I mean who wouldn't?!?!! Have you seen the epilator. It looks like it can cut you up into pieces and the sound matches the way it looks.

Philips Satin Perfect Epilator

I read different reviews and blogs before doing this and most said that the pain was excruciating. A few did not finish there legs because of the pain. This added to my fears. As recommended, I took a very warm shower and exfoliated my legs to soften my skin and hairs. I thoroughly dried my legs and did not add any moisturizers at all. I read the directions and placed the recommended attachment for first time users. After much hesitation, I placed the epilator on my right leg. After a quick call out to Jesus for protection, I turned on the epilator. I epilated about 1 inch of leg........my battery died. I couldn't believe it. I know that I charged it a few days ago. But I did show it off to a couple of friends and family the day before. I charged it and started again.

Are you wondering if it hurt?  My honest opinion is no. Now I'm not going to tell you that it is painless like the underarms because there is a little bit of discomfort. I do tolerate pain pretty well though.  I'm not really sure how to describe this discomfort. Have you ever plucked your eyebrows? If so, where is the most sensitive area to pluck? Imagine you doing that but instead of pulling one hair you are pulling 10 hairs at a time. That is the best way to describe the pain/discomfort. If you are the type of person who can tolerate pain and you are looking for another way to remove hair besides waxing and shaving then epilating may be just for you.

I liked the way my legs felt afterward. They were smooth. I also like the light that is on the epilator. It gives you a better look at the area that you are epilating. It also makes the hairs on your legs stand out more. I am sure that once you epilate a few times it will become less and less painful. I am definitely going to use this for my underarms and legs.

2 Day Post Shave-Philips Satin Perfect Epilator

So today is my second day post shave from using the Philip Satin Perfect Epilator. I still like the results. I still would recommend this to anyone who dislikes shaving their underarms. As you can see, there is hair growth but not as much as I usually have.

I few weeks ago I did the My Perfect Imperfections Tag. One of my imperfections that I should have mentioned was my underarms. I dislike the color of them. I have to shave them everyday. My little boy freaks out when he sees my underarms. He says "close your arms mom you have pokers". I know he is just a child and he does not mean what he says,but I have to agree with him. Pokers are gross!!
When I read that this epilator can be used on the underarms I got pretty excited. Then I got scared and nervous.The noise of the epilator is a little loud and scary. I kept thinking that it was going to cut my skin into pieces.
After a hot shower and exfoliation, I decided to try it. I made sure not to apply any lotions or deodorants and that my skin was completely dry.Did not want to risk the chance of getting shocked. I know I wouldn't but my mind comes up with the most craziest ideas and worst scenarios.
Anyways, after reading the directions and applying the correct attachment I was ready to go!! I had not shaved in about 3 days because I was expecting to use this on my legs and underarms. The end results were amazing.
It was not painful at all!!!!It was quick and easy.This actually felt better than shaving. My underarms did not look as dark either. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures.Here are the after pictures that I took. My video will be up on YouTube soon and I will put a link to it.Thanks Philips and BzzAgent, I cant wait for the start of spring to start wearing my tank tops. I cant wait to show my lil boy No More Pokers!!!

I found it at Ross!!

I have been wanting to give my restroom a small makeover. The original color was just the standard white that houses usually come in. I had some girlie frames and mirror stands that I had bought from Home Interior a long time ago. I thought that it was finally time for a change.

I love the color purple. If I could, I would paint my whole house purple. I don't think that's possible though. I decided to paint the small restroom purple with the back wall gray. I really did try to do the painting myself. I am thankful for my awesome husband for taking over. Love you babe!!  He did an awesome job, as always!!

A few days ago. I headed to Ross and found just what I needed. I love owls and they had this one that caught my eye. Its silver plated with glass around his eyes. Its so pretty. The price was awesome as well. Next, I found this table. I'm pretty sure its to place a plant but I am using it to place my owl. I just so happened to find the matching vase, which was $8.99. I placed that on top of the toilet. I bought the spiraled twigs from Hobby Lobby for $5.00. I also bought the hardware at Ross. I think it was $11.00 for the whole set. I wasn't sure how it was going to look but I'm glad my husband talked me into keeping it. He has a great eye for decoration.

I love the end results. I think I just need to get different bulbs to make the room a little brighter.
